Valentine’s Day is almost here, and so is My Unexpected Valentine’s book birthday! That’s right, on Valentine’s Day our little romance novel about love and second chances will be one year old. We thought this was the perfect time to give her a make over. If you follow us on Instagram and Facebook, you’ll have already seen the new cover. If not, here it is!
While there were some things we liked about the old cover, there were also some things we didn’t. It was much too bright. The red was very overpowering. We realized it probably isn’t the best idea to blind our readers. They need their eyes to read, after all. So with this new cover, we kept the red but we toned it down. It’s more subtle. We also like the backdrop for this cover. Our book is set in a fictional city in New York during the winter. This new backdrop brings that fictional city from our imaginations to life right there on the front of the book!
Now the new cover isn’t our only announcement. I’m happy to announce that My Unexpected Valentine is now available in paperback! Yes, that’s right. If you’re like me, and you prefer reading physical copies of books, you can hop right over to Amazon and order yours today! And this is just the beginning. We plan to release both Redemption and My Latest Mistake in paperback book. So look forward to that in the near future!
We hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day! Whether it be spent with your significant other, your family or even your Valentine furbabies, like the two of us. No matter who it’s spent with, we hope you feel happy and loved. And if you’re looking for something romantic to read this weekend, we’re having a Valentine’s Day sale. All three of our books are free to download all weekend long! Think of it as our Valentine’s Day gift to you.

Happy Valentine’s Day. <3
-Danielle
Born in Kentucky, Danielle currently resides in central Florida. She enjoys bringing to life a variety of different characters. One could be a lovable goof who never fails to make you laugh, and another might be a bitter, angry person, who hates the world and everything in it. Humor and anger come hand in hand. Happy and sappy? Not her cup of tea. She prefers the broken and the flawed, because as we all know, no one is perfect.
When not writing romance, you’ll find her laughing at her two dogs as they partake in a constant battle with the squirrels in the backyard. Much to the disappointment of the dogs, the squirrels always come out the victor. Danielle also enjoys coming up with way too many story ideas in the shower, rocking out to the 80s, playing video games, and watching horror movies all year long.
