AMBER
Danica Avery is a shared pen name of two authors. The name was chosen as our real names begin with the letters D and A.
We’ve been friends since 2003 and it was actually writing that brought us together. We met on a roleplay forum. (Anyone remember the days of ProBoards and AIM?) Now in our 30s, we’ve been writing together almost every day since then. It’s more than a hobby; it’s our way of life.
We live separately in Florida and Maryland, and both of our homes are made whole by our animal companions. Danielle has two dogs while Amber has three cats and a dog. Our lives wouldn’t be the same without our furry children. When we’re not writing, or reading, or editing our upcoming novel, we both enjoy playing video games and watching so many movies. Amber also crochets and sketches, and Danielle is into photography and dog training.
