We planned to release on Christmas Day, so why is it out early? Well, obviously this is our first book release. This entire thing has been a learning experience, and we learned the hard way about how exactly the Amazon release dates work. If you want to use the option to set an exact release date in the future, you have to set it at least a week in advance. Face palm. Discovered that one day too late. And we didn’t want to push our release date to the 26th.
The other option Amazon gives you is to release “now”. Which means you submit, and then your book will go live any time within the following 72 hours. We wanted to make sure it was available on Christmas, so we submitted it last night. We hoped it wouldn’t be delayed because of the upcoming holiday, but it was surprisingly fast and became live this evening.
So, we figured we might as well announce it early!

We’re so excited about this release. We’re finally published authors! Finally, after years of hard work and failed lessons. It feels so good to see our work available in a polished and completed book. I need to stop opening the Amazon page, but you know what, I just can’t! Not today at least, haha.
And of course, thank you so much to everyone who supported us on our journey to getting published. Our parents, our friends, and all the wonderful people we’ve met on social media. We appreciate it more than I can put into words. ❤
