Can you believe it’s already September? The summer is nearly over! Hope you’ve all been having a great time, enjoying the sunlight, spending time with loved ones. As for us, we’ve taken an unannounced hiatus. Now we’re back to work and we’re pressing hard to bring you more fun romance stories!
If you’re wondering when our next release will be, you’ll be happy to hear it’s coming this fall. Stay tuned for an exact date! It’s going to be the first book in our new shifter romance series. The one about Kayden, the Doberman shifter who pretends to be a dog to steal from people, only this time he falls for the mark. When Brielle only knows him as the family pet, how will he ever win her heart? And will he go through with the heist? His gang of thieving dog shifters are counting on him, putting him in a difficult position. This is a humor filled, action packed, steamy romance that you’re sure to enjoy! The second shifter book, about the detective panther shifter, is still in the works as well. You can expect to see that one sometime next year.
Our next release after the Doberman book will be Heart’s Peak 3!! We’re so excited to almost have the trilogy finished! We’re working on that book now and plan to release it within the next few months. It’s the story of Junie, who you got to meet in My Latest Mistake. She’s Luka’s loveable niece, with her bold spirit and big heart. She’s older now and experiencing her first taste of love. Now that Luka is busy with his own family, he’s unable to help around his parents’ farm, so they hire Sam to help. Junie hits it off with Sam, but what is the big secret he’s hiding? Sam is running from something dangerous, while Juneberry is torn between her high school boyfriend and her newly growing crush. Will Junie end up with the love of her dreams or is it only a fantasy?
In other Heart’s Peak news, we’re working on a novella set in the town that we’re going to offer as a free story. It will be available free to anyone on our mailing list. Aside from new books, we’ve given some love to our existing books. My Unexpected Valentine received a new cover this summer. It’s beautiful! This new cover is available for the ebook and paperback versions on Amazon. We hired a cover artist who did most of the work, then I did the final touches to make it fit our vision better. We like how this cover actually reflects how Emily has an Asian heritage. It’s got the red, true to the book’s original cover, but done in a way that’s pleasing to the eyes. We’re happy with it. Third time’s a charm, right?
We’re also happy to announce that My Unexpected Valentine is going to be available on Barnes & Noble soon! It’s been submitted for review by B&N staff, so it should be up before you know it. We’re excited to have our paperback available through a retailer outside of Amazon. The Heart’s Peak books will all be released on paperback in the coming months as well. We know some of you folks prefer physical books to ebooks, and I mean, why not? Nothing compares to the feel of a book and the smell of those pages.
I’m about to wrap up this update, but there’s one last thing I want to mention. We’re going to open a Facebook group soon for romance readers and writers alike. We want to have a place where people can hang out, talk with other readers about fun romances they’ve read, and where authors can connect with readers on a more personal level. We’ll announce it on social media when it’s open.
