Back in the Saddle

What a crazy place the world’s been lately, huh? Things have sure been different. We hope you’re all hanging in there and doing well. As for us, we’re trying to get back to normal, at least as far as our work goes. We’re long overdue for an update, so here goes!

Fans of Redemption will be pleased to hear we’re working on the sequel! Back in March, I took a trip to visit D. (If you’re not familiar, we live in different states.) During that trip, we worked on outlining the next book. It’s going to follow Aria and Luka, who were introduced in Redemption. It’ll again have the city girl and country boy aspect, but we’re taking the plot in a very different direction than what you’ve already seen with Dove and Burley. That’s all I’m willing to spill about it right now!

We’re not ready to announce the title yet, so we’re just calling it Heart’s Peak 2 for now. We planned to start the actual writing when I returned home. Then the virus started hitting hard. I had to cut my trip short, and like most people, our lives were completely disrupted. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with some health problems, and D unfortunately had to say goodbye to another of her dogs. It’s been a rough time.

This isn’t a post to dwell on bad things, though. No, we’re trying to stay optimistic and we’re getting back in the saddle! Sometime in this coming week, we’re going to try to finally start writing the draft of Heart’s Peak 2. We’re excited to actually get going on it. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated with us! We’ll be posting status updates and fun quotes that come along the way.

In other news, Redemption and My Unexpected Valentine are no longer available on Kindle Unlimited. We want to make them more widely available, so we’ll be looking into getting them into more digital stores soon. Thank you so much to all of you who have already read these books! It truly means a lot to us. Even the folks who have simply helped us spread the word, thank you. Your support really is appreciated. Every review is appreciated. Every comment and follow on social media. We both see all of it and, really, thank you.
